Supporting Birthing People and Parents in:
Greater Seattle • Renton • Tukwila • Burien • SeaTac • Skyway • Kent
Virtual introductory meeting at your home or an agreed upon location to get to know one another which is free of charge. It gives you a chance to ask me any questions that you may have about me and my practice to ensure that I'm the right doula for you.
For the first meeting, I like to start developing your pregnancy support plan. I provide you with emotional and physical support during journey. I'll provide customized education, access, and support to meet your needs and the needs of your family.
Suggested Scheduling: Around 25 weeks of pregnancy
In this meeting, I like to start developing your birth plan. I like to get a good sense of what is important to you, your hopes and maybe even fears going into labor, birth and postpartum. I also like to provide inclusive education on prenatal lactation and childbirth.
Suggested Scheduling: Around 30 weeks of pregnancy
During our third meeting, I like to polish your birth and assistance with writing Postpartum Sanctuary Plan, help you prepare your home for baby, and celebrate the end of your pregnancy. This is the meeting that you will also meet the back-up birth doula if one will be apart of your support plan.
Suggested Scheduling: Around 35 weeks of pregnancy
Babies have perfect timing, but sometimes that means labor starts at odd times and usually not on your due date. I will be waiting on your call 3 weeks before your estimated due date, until your birth. If labor begins before you are full term (before 37 weeks) please still give me a call!
I will provide you with continuous support throughout your birth in home, at the hospital or birth center. I am honored to support you and witness your strength. I will encourage you and challenge you to experience a new comfort zone by recommending laboring or birthing positions that are evidence based and proven to support your comfort, labor progression, and promote optimal fetal positioning. I will provide 3 hours of postpartum support immediately after birth to assist you with skin-to-skin bonding with baby, rooming, showering/bathing, and lactation support.
You will receive two postpartum visits after your birth. I will assist you to implement and fulfill your Postpartum Sanctuary Plan. However, postpartum support can really vary based on your needs and birth experience. I am here for all the changes. Typically, I support parents with newborn care, lactation support, newborn schedule adjustment, birth processing and resource support.
Scheduling: The first postpartum appointment needs to be scheduled either during the first or second week of birth. The second appointment must be scheduled within the first 3 months. Both visits are most helpful within the first month postpartum.
For parents choosing to feed their babies human milk, I recommend that the first postpartum visit be on Day 3 after the birth. Also, your milk comes in around Day 3 and I strive to be present to support your lactation and feeding goals. I bring in Peer Breastfeeding Counselor, Shevonne Tsegaye and all her incredible lactation knowledge to support you. Afterwards, all other appointments can be scheduled as needed. Appointments are virtual by default or in-person upon request.
The fee for Pregnancy and Birth Doula Support starts at $1,500. A retainer allows you to secure my 24/7 on-call availability two weeks before and two weeks after your estimated due date. and is arranged as follows if I am selected as your doula:
Day 3/Postpartum Lactation Support with Shevonne Tsegaye - $150
Prenatal or Postpartum Massage Therapy with Myesha Mitchell - $130 per session
It takes a community to support a baby and the people that care for them. I believe postpartum support can come in many different ways, but should always be done with love and flexibility. I am available to support you for your first 2 years after your birth. After those 2 years, I can help you in finding other care options if needed.
My goal as your postpartum doula is to support your family as you need. Providing individualized care to you, baby, and your family as a whole as you develop your new normal. I work with you to create a space where you can explore which tools work best for you and your family.
Appointment: 2 Hour Minimum and 4 Hours Maximum
Cost: $55 per hour
***Infant + Toddler Potty Training is not a standalone service, but can be included with postpartum support, or within sibling support***
Whether you are facing a miscarriage, abortion, infant loss, or stillbirth, you deserve support. I do provide hands on labor support both in home or at a hospital. Pregnancy loss should not be endured alone, and postpartum care is still a necessity. My support also extends to partner support in case of loss of the birthing parent.
I strive to create a brave space where folx can feel comfortable with being vulnerable in expressing their emotions and sharing their stories. Grief is not linear, and it does not look the same for everyone. I will help you consider all your options in welcoming and home-going time with your baby.
Cost not listed, but don't worry. Receiving support is more important than cost. Let's talk.
Abortion can be approached as a sacred act. I provide virtual or in-person care before, during, and/or after any procedure. I am available for abortions that take place both inside and outside the clinic and at home.

Postpartum care (0-8 weeks, and further on a case-by-case basis) is emphasized following your procedure to initiate and ensure full depth of care.
