Holistic Wellness... It's a VIBE!

Let us start by stating that this event is for the WHOLE community! No matter your ethinicity, culture, family size or structure, religion, etc etc! You are more than welcomed to attend this community event!!

COMMUNITY WELLNESS… It’s a VIBE!  Please join BLKBRY and the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic’s Governance Council as we host an open house event to focus on the holistic wellness of our community.  This is a FREE event for the community! 

BLKBRY will be providing resource packs for families based on their kiddo’s age. And also hosting a “Ask the Doula” table. While members of the Doulas For All Coalition support in informing folks about doula reimbursement and supporting doulas that would like to become state credentialed. We’ll also have a number of special giveaways for adults and kids throughout the event!  Po Boy and Tings will be serving lunch, and Creamy Cone Cafe will be serving sweet treats! Makeda Robinson of House of Akoma will also be there with tea bar. We’ll also be having car seat installations, family-centered activities, resource organizations present, and more! We’ll also have guest speakers from the Odessa Brown Clinical team.  An exciting part of our day is that Mickey Blake (an incredible local  Black woman scientist) will be hosting a craft table. Watch and learn how her 3D printers craft biodegradable vases made of a sugar cane and corn (her own formula🙌🏾). Kids and adults will get to make bouquets💐 with the vases to take home!  You must be registered in order to receive a meal ticket for a free plate from Po Boy and Tings, and to receive a resource package.
