I am Queer, Afro-Latina Doula and womb healer. I am West African (Nigerian,Malian) and Mexican (Chihuahua native). I am originally from El Paso ,Texas but have been in Seattle since 2015.
Before Birth Work, I worked for in the nonprofit world. I left the nonprofit world to answer my ancestral calling to birth work in 2020. I with taking various doula skill trainings to gain more skill for continuity of care and warp around services to better serve my community.
My targeted community that I wish to serve is the African/African American and Hispanic community. This work has allowed me to support birth givers of in all shapes and forms. But I am eager to help all people of color and families of the LGBTQ+ community.
What brought me to birth work?... The wound that affects my community directly: the disproportionate mortality rates of Black and Brown birth givers and children, especially in my own lineage. I've witness with my very own eyes and want to be a part of the change. This revolutionary way that truly supports change.
So here I am. Walking in my path as my truest self. This is my passion and life's purpose.
I am an apprentice to traditional midwifery and have been studying traditional midwifery globally since 2021 under the Afro and Hispanic Indigenous peoples. I am a Holistic Full Spectrum Doula, Midwife Birth Assistant, Herbalist, Lactation Support Specialist, Placenta Specialist, Yoni Steam Facilitator, African Belly-binding Specialist and Womb Healer.
I aspire to hold space for my community and help you achieve your birth goals for your desired birth.
